You would think Johnny (Carson Boatman) might have learned his lesson about yelling private information with no concern for who might be listening. Remember how

well his accusing Chanel (Raven Bowens) of having an affair with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) went over? We remember.

But weā€™re guessing Johnny might not. Because now heā€™s arguing at the top of his lungs with Alex about Johnny sleeping with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins)ā€¦just as Chanel walks by. And sheā€™s not wearing headphones.

Not So Fast

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) offered Joy money to leave Salem. Joy wasnā€™t thrilled, but now sheā€™s kind of considering it. This pleases EJ.

This, however, does not please Kate (Lauren Koslow). Kate hired Joy to work on Body & Soul. Sheā€™s already shot some scenes. She canā€™t just disappear, so Kate might torpedo EJā€™s plans. This does not please EJ in the slightest.

Work Around
Jada (Elia Cantu) is the Chief of Police in Salem. Her fiancƩ, Rafe (Galen Garing), is a newly minted private eye. He has to know how bad the police are. Is that why he has some bad news to break to Jada?

Meanwhile, Rafeā€™s cousin, Javi (Al Calderon), continues to ignore the advice of everyone who loves him and his own lived experience to feel sympathy for Leo (Greg Rikaart). And since Leo is the most important person, the star of every story, the definition of main character energy, he will obviously be proven right in the end. And, if not right, at least innocent of being wrong. Weā€™ve asked before, and weā€™re asking again: Are we really supposed to treat this one-night stand like itā€™s some kind of epic, star-crossed romance?
